I constructed white box forms that fit into the existing railings on the balcony, giving the feeling of floating pedestals and eliminating the need for traditional floor pedestals. They undulate between the top and middle rungs of the railings to create a wave-like motion as viewers move through the space.
These floating pedestals display two series of slumped plate glass, the "Distillation" and "Clarification" series.
